The Wedding Of
MIKE AND ALLY
01.20.2024
Our Story
Mike and Ally met in State College on a cold January night back in 2019. While at a gathering of mutual friends, a brief introduction and a few shared laughs was all it took for the two to continue finding their way to each other throughout the night. When they parted their ways, off to recount the night to friends, they had a shared hope that maybe, just maybe, they would meet again soon.
As you may expect, the two continued to see each other and as the days went on, they learned about all the things they had in common, notably both having schnauzers at home. From frigid snow days spent together to quick hellos between classes, it was clear they were falling for each other and couldn't imagine a world where they wouldn't be together.
With Mike graduating in December of 2019 and COVID making waves just a few months after, the two began navigating through the constant changes of life alongside one another. After years of long distance as Ally finished at Penn State and Mike started his career in Washington DC, they both knew one thing was for sure - their next journey in life would be spent together, in one city.
They made the leap to begin their next chapter in Louisville, KY. This new city brought new experiences and even a new four-legged family member, Chip! While back in Pittsburgh to visit family, Mike popped the big question and well, I'm sure you can figure out what Ally's answer was. The two cannot wait to celebrate their love story with a wedding in Pittsburgh, embarking on their most exciting chapter yet, marriage!

To accomodate our out-of-town guests and those looking for a little bit more convenience, there are two hotels just down the road from our reception venue.

In Lieu of Gifts...
We feel we have all of the 'things' we require, and at the end of the day, your presence, not presents is all we desire. However, should you wish to honor us with a gift, a wishing well will be available at the reception, where your contributions and well wishes can give our dreams a lift.
While we know this is not traditional, we are saving for a move closer to home, to include a house with a backyard for Chip to roam. We appreciate your love and support as we build our life together, and we can't wait to spend our wedding day with you, as we embark on our forever!
All our love,
Mike and Ally
